We believe that Karate is the perfect Martial Art to provide the emotional skills set, the discipline and values necessary to conquer any challenges and to become ultimately a healthy and balanced person.

Meet our Senseis!
Cyril started Karate in 2011 back in France, he then moved to Singapore to develop his professional career in Supply Chain and later Recruitment. In Singapore Cyril continued to train in Karate under the guidance of Sensei Tan Soo Lin (5th DAN JKA) and after 4 years of practice, in 2015, he earned his Black Belt, his 2nd DAN the following year and in 2020 his 3rd DAN.
He had an opportunity to participate in competitions in Singapore and Malaysia where he won 7 different awards in Kata and Kumite.
In the beginning of 2016, Cyril launched a Karate class mainly for Kids aged 3 to 8 years old and rapidly expanded to higher age groups by the end of the year.
In 2017 he was selected by Sensei Tan Soo Lin to participate in the Japan Karate Association World Championship that took place in Ireland where he represented Singapore in Kata and Kumite.
In 2018, after discovering the concept of “Ikigai”, he decided to change his career to Karate Coaching and 2 years later in 2020, he founded Karate Nation.
Cyril is dedicated to coaching and sharing his passion with his students. He has an innate perception of the way the body moves, its biomechanics, and a real understanding of different cultures/backgrounds to bring an easy and open approach to his work and life endeavours.
Iwan started practicing Karate when he was a teenager. He trained Shotokan style Karate in a Dojo affiliated with the Institute of Karate-Do Indonesia. He then moved to Singapore to pursue his studies in the early 1980’s. He later joined Shitoryu Karate Association of Singapore and was awarded his 1st Dan Black Belt in Shitoryu Karate in 1992.
He also participated in other sporting affair and was involved in a Courseware Development Program and delivered a Competency-Based Training Curriculum for Singapore Ice Skating (SISA) in 2018
Iwan is a ACTA-Certified and MOE Registered Trainer. He has been teaching WSQ Web Development Courses and Computational Coding classes at some MOE Primary Schools since 2016.
He completed his tertiary education in the UK and worked as a Business Technologist in Local and Multinational Companies.
Iwan is currently Coaching Karate for Adults and Kids with our Affiliated Schools and private venues. He is known for his high standard skills, kindness and discipline.
