On 3 August 2025, Karate Nation proudly took part in the 14th JKA Singapore Karate Tournament. This year, the standard of competition was higher than ever. Many categories went into extra rounds, as draws in scores became common. Every match demanded not only skill, but also patience, focus, and unwavering spirit.
Despite the challenging conditions, our students rose to the occasion and delivered outstanding performances:
🥉🥉 Honoka fought with resilience and precision, securing two bronze medals in both Kata and Kumite.
🥈🥈 Kotomi pushed herself out of her comfort zone and showed remarkable progress, winning two silver medals in Kata and Kumite.
👏 Esme stepped onto the tatami for her first-ever competition, showing courage and determination that will serve as the foundation for her Karate journey.
👏 Emilio displayed great spirit and technique throughout his matches, impressing both teammates and coaches with his performance.
This tournament was not only about medals but also about growth. Our students faced higher pressure, tighter margins, and stronger opponents, yet they showed the heart of Karate Nation by adapting, pushing through, and giving their very best.
As their Sensei, I could not be prouder of their dedication, discipline, and teamwork. These results reflect the countless hours of training and the spirit of Karate that we carry forward together.
Congratulations once again to all our competitors. This is just one step on the journey — and the future is bright for Karate Nation.
We are Karate! 🥋🔥
